The head of Philadelphia's Citizens Police Oversight Commission, Hassan Bennett, has been charged with selling sensitive case information and a witness's full name to a prison inmate. According to prosecutors, Bennett provided an unredacted arrest report to inmate Thomas Scott in a domestic violence attempted murder case. Investigators reportedly listened to prison calls where Bennett read details from the report and handed over the witness's identity in exchange for money. Officials stated the documents were subsequently used to intimidate the witness and prevent them from coming to court. Both Bennett and Scott now face felony charges including intimidation of a witness, conspiracy, and bribery. The National Police Association has called for a thorough investigation into the city's oversight commission following the arrest. Source: Fox News
