BBC viewers have seen the conclusion of the latest series of Antiques Roadshow, which recently wrapped up its run across historic sites and regional landmarks with Fiona Bruce. The popular Sunday evening programme has now handed over its prime-time slot to one of the most anticipated television returns of the year. David Attenborough returns to narrate Blue Planet III, a landmark documentary series that promises to push the boundaries of underwater wildlife film-making. Utilizing a new generation of camera technology, including splash drones, long-term remote underwater cameras, and mini domes, the series uncovers extraordinary behaviours and untold stories from across the planet's five key marine habitats: Tropical Seas, Open Ocean, Seasonal Seas, Polar Waters, and The Deep. While the previous instalment highlighted ocean threats, the new chapter focuses heavily on adaptation, resilience, hope, and recovery in a changing world. To mark the launch, BRIT Award-winning singer JADE and Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer have collaborated on an exclusive original track titled Into The Deep (Seas Cry), celebrating twenty-five years since the original series first mesmerised global audiences.
